Also I suggest some features for your (i mean our ) Internet TV.
I want to record some programmes for future viewing.
Is that possible?

First a big Thank You!
Here's my ''unofficial'' todo list
1) Radio channels -- a great radio directory is here
2) Please DON'T add Google Video search, YouTube or any other crap, keep it simple as it is.
3) I really don't see nothing wrong on adding movies, music CNN, NBC etc...as long they are already listed on a lot of sites so nothing illegal :
www.streamick.com
www.chooseandwatch.com
www.craftytv.com
www.freetube.us.tc
www.imvite.com
www.internettvlist.com
www.livestreamingtv.com
www.tv-links.co.uk
4) One more thing you can add if you want of course; webcams from around the world, you can do this looking in other programs like Super Internet TV (shareware crap) etc... or looking here:
www.earthcam.com/
5) No adult channels, any perv can add his own channel if he want searching on internet.
Good luck and thanks again for this great piece of software. |

Thanks for the links Teleprix!
I will see what I can do about this, and adding a "free online movies" list is a good ide!
But it looks like manually adding all those radio channels will be too much work, I need direct links to the streams. (I could set up a web page for this in the future and let people submit channels...)
Currently I have made a Shoutcast radio channel fetcher and I'm thinking about making one for Icecast too. But I'm not sure if I can release this, it might not be legal. |

Here we go Sir:
ShoutCast Menu-Browser
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Audio-Plugins/ShoutCast-Menu-Browser.shtml

Don't worry the program is in English:
http://www.phoenixsoft.de/files/smb/
And don't worry about legality, i see a lot of programs around with the ability to play/download/retrieve/record Shoutcast files without any problems, few examples:
http://www.rmbsoft.com/aspro.asp
http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/ ---> open source!
http://streamripperx.sourceforge.net/ ---> open surce for Mac
http://sourceforge.net/projects/stationripper/ ---> open source
http://www.hidownload.com/ --->$$$ download manager for Shoutcast Streams
and many, many others.....

I guess I will finish my radio program then, but I don't think I will mix it with the TV program. |

Absolutely incredible software. Well done!
Not sure how or where you get your channel lists, but it would great to add ESPN2 (USA) and Sky Sports (UK) to the lists. |

In addition to Teleprix's links to TV station lists, I also found
http://www.myeasytv.com/
Great software, though! But what I don't like is that it's using the actual (MS) Media Player and Real Player (plugin?) to play the contents. Having Real Alternative (as well as Quick Alternative) installed, and being VLC and Media Player Classic user, I'd just prefer to be able to use one of these two players to play contents in your program. |

Well, I don't know how to do that yet... If you have any programming info on how I can use those then feel free to share it!
Would you really like me to open up VLC and play the link there? I guess I could let the user choose.

No, unfortunately I have no programming info - I'm just an (advanced ) user of new technologies.
As for the way of doing it - I suppose adding an option for users to choose their preferred player would be fine. The easiest way probably is just to fire up VLC and pass the link to it and play it there; I'm not sure though if it's possible also to somehow "embed" the aforementioned players and use them within the program itself (instead of the default "official" players). |

One thing I would love to see added is a brief description of whats on the channels currently. I am not sure how it is done but I have seen it in other online tv programs.
Thanks |
